Application forms are invited for the tenure post of Registrar on Academic Arrangements Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020 in the below mentioned discipline of this College as per the relevant rules in vogue for an initial period of one (01) year, further extendable on yearly basis maximum upto three (03) years subject to satisfactory work and conduct certificate from the concerned HOD:

The detailed instructions for filling up of online form and mode of payment is given in the link provided above on amounting of INR. 500/-(Five Hundred only). The link will be available from 11.07.2024 to 31.07.2024 upto 05:00 P.M. For in-service/PSC Dental Surgeons need to take printout of filled application form and route it through proper channel to the office of the Principal, Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College, Jammu on or before 31.07.2024 upto 05:00 P.M. The applicants are advised to upload the following documents along with fee receipt duly self attested.
List of documents to be uploaded :-
1. BDS Degree from DCI recognized College & University.
2. Internship completion certificate.
3. Attempt certificate issued by the Head of Institution, University.
4. Marks card of all years of BDS.
5. MDS Degree with marks card from DCI recognized College 8s University (Mandatory).
6. Registration Certificate with renewal issued by State Dental Council.
7. Date of Birth certificate.
8. A copy of Aadhar Card.
9. Domicile certificate/proof.
10. A passport size photograph should be pasted at the appropriate place on the application form.
11. Affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate declaring that the applicant has not done Registrarship / Demonstratorship /Tutorship in the earlier within or outside the UT(J&K) in concerned discipline.
12. NOC from Administrative Department Health & Medical Education in case of in-service candidate.
Note :-
The selection will be made as per Govt. Order Nos 382 – JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024 & 383 – JK (HMEI of 2024 dated 20-06-2024 and under S.O. 364 – 2020 dated 27-11-2020.
Qualification :-
The post graduate qualification of MDS in concerned speciality shall be mandatorily required as per the eligible criteria for the post.
CONDITIONS AND ELIGIBILITY
a. For in-service (PSC) candidates :
a) The in-service candidates shall be paid salary as per their LPC.
b) The in-service candidates of Health & Medical Education Department shall be eligible to participate in the selection process only after obtaining NOC from the competent authority and in terms of policy on the subject in vogue.
) In-service if selected shall be on deputation for three (03) years as per SRO-75 dated 15.04.1993.
d) The Non-PSC candidates shall be engaged on Academic Arrangement Basis as per terms and conditions of S.0.364 dated 27.11.2020 read with Govt Order Nos. 382 – JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024 & 383-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024 and is entitled for eglary as applicable under S.0-364 dated 27.11.2020.
e) The maximum age for non-service applicants at the time of submission of application should be 50 years.
f) The candidates who were earlier appointed as Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator/Senior Resident in any Dental/Medical College but have left the job before completing tenure need not to apply.
Those candidates who have already completed their tenure as Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator/Senior Resident in any Institution of country recognized by DCI need not to apply and their forms shall not be considered.
h) No selected candidate who has joined this institution on a tenured position shall be given experience certificate, if he/she fails to serve on tenured position for at least six months.
i) Those candidates who have already paid the online fee for the advertisement issued under endorsement No. IGGDCJ/Estt/GD/ 118-26 dated 11.01.2024 needs not to pay fresh fee for this post , however fee receipt upload with application form.
The maximum tenure of a Registrar shall be three (03) years and no extension shall be granted under any circumstances.
